The idea

Physics becomes difficult when it is reduced to formulas.

Physics is one of the most powerful ways to understand the natural world. But for many students, it becomes a dry collection of definitions, equations, and exercises.

iPedia was created to make physics more visual, more interactive, and more human. A formula should not appear as a dead symbol. It should be connected to motion, force, energy, fields, waves, circuits, experiments, and real physical meaning.

What is iPedia?

A digital learning ecosystem for physics.

iPedia is a collection of interactive ebooks and educational applications designed to turn passive reading into active learning.

📚

Interactive ebooks

Multi-touch ebooks with explanations, visual material, exercises, tests, and digital activities.

🧊

3D models

Over 300 3D models help students rotate, zoom, inspect, and understand physical structures.

🧪

Smart tests

Immediate feedback helps readers check understanding and build confidence step by step.

🏆

XP and progress

Gamified progress, milestones, and ranking elements create motivation without unnecessary pressure.

🔬

Experiments and simulations

Physics is the science of observation. Interactive simulations let students explore phenomena directly.

🎙️

Narrations and summaries

Audio descriptions, notes, summaries, and guided explanations support different learning styles.

Already available in Greek

Published on Apple Books.

The Greek editions already exist. This Kickstarter campaign is about translating, adapting, and preparing the English editions for a global audience.

The ebook cards load Apple Books preview covers live from Apple's public catalog. If Apple blocks or delays the preview request, the cards still show the title, level, original Greek title, sample link, and Apple Books link.

Why interactive?

More than a PDF. More than a static textbook.

iPedia connects theory, examples, questions, simulations, and visual feedback inside one learning flow.

Glossary and concepts

Students can quickly find key terms, definitions, and concepts while studying or revising.

Visible progress

XP, levels, milestones, and statistics make progress visible and create a sense of movement.

Motivation through goals

Leaderboards and milestones can support consistent study when used carefully and pedagogically.

Study in small pieces

Notes, challenges, quizzes, and guided activities keep attention active and reduce passive reading.

Why Kickstarter?

We are not starting from zero. We are scaling what already exists.

Translating a scientific educational ebook is not a simple word-for-word translation. Physics requires precision. Educational writing requires clarity. Interactive books require careful adaptation, testing, and redesign.

Kickstarter will help fund the next stage: bringing iPedia from Greek readers to English-speaking students, teachers, schools, and self-learners.

Scientific translation

Accurate English translation of Greek physics content, explanations, questions, and terminology.

Editing and adaptation

Polishing the English editions so they feel natural and useful for international readers.

Design and testing

Testing interactive elements, updating visuals, and preparing the editions for digital distribution.

Why I built iPedia

I am a physicist and physics teacher from Greece. After years of teaching students, I realized that many of them were not really afraid of physics itself. They were afraid of the way physics was presented to them.

Too often, physics appears as a wall of formulas. But behind every formula there is an idea, a phenomenon, and a way of seeing the world. iPedia was created to help students cross that wall.

The vision

We believe physics education should be rigorous, but also alive. It should be accessible, beautiful, visual, and intellectually exciting.

The Greek editions are the first step. The English editions are the next one. With your support, this work can reach a much larger audience.
